BERRI PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
As part of our service to young people, Ameliorate will provide a full BERRI assessment to each of the looked after young people in our care.
WHAT IS BERRI?
BERRI is an assessment tool covering mental health, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, relationships, risk, and attachment. It is designed to help identify young people’s needs, with tools to track how they change over time. This increases insight for professionals, allowing them to make greater impact on young people’s functioning and wellbeing.
The BERRI tool also tracks change and provides an evidence-based composition of support around each young person. Further information about BERRI psychological screening can be found by visiting www.berri.org.uk.
OUR SCREENING
Reinforcing our philosophy of placing the needs of young people at the heart of our service, Ameliorate will provide a consistent, monthly BERRI screen which is a psychological screening service, for every young person. BERRI will enable the service to formulate workable and achievable outcomes based on each young person’s assessed needs
